Motivation Letter
Bantul, 10th of oct 2014
My name is Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung, I am 18 years old and I am
studying Agriculture in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University at the moment. I am
proud of my major because without agriculture we cannot live properly. I lived
in a boarding school for six years. In this boarding school every day we
communicated in Arabic and English which made me fluent in those languages.
By this letter I would like to express my strong interest for
joining Global Youth Ambassador Program in AIESEC. I know this opportunity from
my friend who joined this opportunity in 2013. I encouraged myself to join this
event, to know my ability. As an Arabic aphorism said:جَرِّبْ
ولآحِظْ تَكُنْ عَارِفًا Which means:
“try, and surely you will know (ability)”, therefore I considered giving
a try on this opportunity. I can speak English, Arabic, Malaysian, Indonesian
and Mandailing language well. Moreover, I am able to give public
speaking in those languages.
Meeting new people from various backgrounds has been my passion. I also
have the desire to gain an international experience in order to enrich my
cross-cultural understanding. Therefore, those make me a suitable candidate in
this project.
If I pass this selection, I will have new experience and I will
know about many cultures from the other countries, it is gratify for me,
because I loved culture very much, like the culture in Japan and Italia it is
really unique. I will have the chance to improve my English too it helps me to
be better than now.
